Numbers and Counting

This kit is for the child that's never counted in her life. Just kidding. Children start counting as early as 2 years of age, but this kit introduces QUANTITY before symbols and takes a child's innate ability to identify quantity and hones in on it. Appropriate for ages 2.5 and up.

Kit 2

Golden Beads and Operations

The mother of all Montessori math kits. This kit lays the foundation for all the math that's to come! The golden beads introduce the decimal system and the four operations in a concrete and playful way. Appropriate for ages 4 and above.

Kit 3

Linear and Skip Counting

This kit introduces the teen numbers and the idea of linear counting, which always comes after the introduction of the decimal system. It introduces the idea of squares and cubes of numbers in a sensorial way along with skip counting exercises with the short bead chain. Appropriate for ages 4.5 and up.

Memory Work

Once a child has been exposed to the decimal system and some operations, you can begin memory work. This kit includes all the charts and beads and boards a child needs to dive right into the world of math facts in a fun way. Appropriate for ages 4.5 and up.

Kits 5 and 6

This kit is an "I'm pretty much done with primary and ready to be in elementary" kit. The transition between primary and elementary isn't an abrupt one, but rather a continuation. This kit has its roots in primary but extends into the first and second-ish year of elementary. Appropriate for ages 6 and up.
